Well, hello.

It's been such a long while since I last updated this blog, but hi. Just wanted to update it since it's been months.

Well, I am currently in school, listening to the mixCD my best friend lent me and waiting for the Battle of the Bands event to start. The winner gets to perform at the House of Blues for this school fundraiser. Did I mention I get to play as well? I'm in our school orchestra and it's automatic in for us. I picked up the violin again after 2 years. I played violin in middle school, but I stopped when I entered high school. Just around October we were able to get a school orchestra started. Fun fun fun fun.

I'm a junior now. Isn't that crazy? I remember starting this blog in freshman year and now, I'm almost done with high school. Junior year has been (overall) difficult. There's so much work, but that doesn't stop me. I am currently an honors student in 3 classes, which is pretty much almost every class. I don't mind the work. It's interesting, but I usually do it because of college. That's just right around the corner. It's coming too fast. It seems like the years in high school are shorter than I expected them to be. College. College. College. That's all I hear nowadays. It gets annoying and sometimes I'd like to just stop hearing about it, but that's impossible. College seems exciting though. I went to a college fair at the San Diego Convention center. It was pretty fun. I stayed with my best friend most of the time and we were able to talk to a lot of colleges. Though near the end, we thought our buses left without us, but it turns out not. Hah.

Well, that's all for now. I'll update soon, maybe? We'll see.

Hey week, go by faster.

I can't take school right now. Can't I just skip it all the way and go straight to the fun parts?

Like this weekend. Woo, cousins are coming over. Get to wear this pretty dress. Party on Saturday. Jonas Brothers tickets (it's really killing me right now that I can't buy it through the presale).

Next weekend. Palm springs, I think? Not so sure and not looking forward to it that much. Yeah, I haven't been there before and "it's going to be fun" (quote from my mom), but I am way to stressed to take a break.

SUMMER. Please come. Soon. I'm not really looking forward to it as much as I used to around 3 days ago, though. But I can't wait for it. Mall, Beach, more mall. Maybe some trips to LA? Oh, I can't wait.

Septemberrrr.... My sweet sixteen. Still don't know what to do. Anybody have any ideas? Camp Rock 2 comes out the day before. :) I just need something to do over the 3-day weekend. Then, Jonas concert with Demi on the 25th. Can't wait. At all. :D

My patient meter is getting smaller and smaller by the second... :)

somewhat long post.

Happy Thursday evening. It's been a while since I've updated, huh? I think around 4-ish months. Don't worry, not much happened between now and then.

Happy spring break, by the way. Unlike a lot of you, I have next week off. And I've really done nothing for this past week of no school. Am I bored? Yes, very. I've done nothing but spend my time on the computer, in front of the piano, and playing my brother's xbox. I'll try doing something else eventually.

School in the past couple months was hectic, stressful, and work-overload. Recently, we have just finished Festival del Sol, which I will get more into detail later. In the past four months, I did my Presentation of Learning and passed, took my CAHSEEs and a mock SAT, and have finished countless projects. Some of the project revolved around dead fish, sweatshop labor, and cotton. The big project for festival was the Sew Me What You Got Project, where we have to make eco-friendly clothing and products. This project took forever. Countless weekends at a friend's house (which was fun at times) and non-stop work at school. In the end, my group made two traditional Japanese uniforms for the clothing. For our eco-friendly products we made green tea ice cream and pins. We sold all of this during Festival del Sol and we were able to make over $100. :) Oh, I've also joined the Japanese classes in my school. It's fun and I've learned a lot so far.

This past year has gone by way too fast. It's unbelievable that I'm almost half done with high school. I don't want to graduate just yet though. I'm still working on that 365-photography project, though I encountered some problems with Flickr. I solved it by creating another account. So far, I'm on my 121st day, I think. Hey, already one third of a year. I've only missed one day, which was this past Monday. Only because I forgot to take a picture of what I originally planned and didn't remember it until Tuesday morning. Oy, I'm such a forgetful person. Well anyway, here's the first 96 days with some extra photos and the most recent days. I really need to start taking more pictures though. Just to document a moment in time. I made a Tumblr also. I update that more than blogspot, but my posts are usually short or reblogs.

Well, that's pretty much it. Just so you know what's going on.

Hello 2010.

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a good new year. Too bad it's time for school again. :/ Where did winter break go? It went by so quick.

My Christmas was okay. Honestly, it didn't really feel like Christmas the day of. I sometimes even forgot that it was even Christmas that day. It was fun though. I got a lot of good presents and I was able to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeak-quel. It was okay, I like the first one better though. The day after I went up near LA because my mom was visiting some of her high school friends. I had some of my friends there too, whom I haven't seen in a while. So, it was fun catching up.

The last couple days of 2009 were okay. Not the best, but I kept in mind that I wanted to end the year in a good note after a lot of negativity went through my head. New Year's Eve was fun. My family and I went up to Disneyland for the day. NYE there is really really fun. We got there around afternoon and spent the last hours of 2009 riding rides and watching some shows. I absolutely love that place. It's my favorite place in the whole world. It didn't seem like there wasn't much people there, but there was TON. In one point of the day, we spent at least 20 minutes trying to go against the crowd, since there were block parties everywhere. The last hour was fun. There was music playing everywhere, all the time. There were about 83,000 people there (according to the DJ) and it was so crowded, especially near the castle before the countdown. The countdown was exciting. You can feel the energy around you building. After the countdown, we rode one more ride, went shopping for a while, then left for our hotel at around 1:30. My feet were killing me, but I had an awesome time. :) The next day was spent in Downtown Disney, then we drove back down to SD. It was a great way to end 2009 and start 2010. :)

The next day was spent with my best friends and one of their cousins. It was fun, being able to hang out and go laser tagging. I found out I am horrible. No lie, but It was really fun. :) I don't really have much New Year's resolutions this year. One of them is to exercise more (I really need it) and another is to take a part in the community more. Other than those, I really don't know. School's starting tomorrow. Thank goodness it didn't start today. I don't want winter break to end just yet, but then what else can I do? I'm just hoping this next semester and the rest of the year would be better than the last.

Well, that's all for now. Happy 2010. :)

Merry Christmas. :)

Since I really have nothing to do right now, I decided to post a blogpost. Merry Christmas eve! or Happy Holidays! Whatever one you would prefer.

I'm currently waiting for something to happen, just sitting typing this blogpost listening to "Last Christmas" by the Glee Cast. Did I mention that was my favorite Christmas song? Well, now you know. I just don't really feel that much Christmas spirit this year. It's an off and on feeling. I don't really know why. A couple other people I know feel the same too. Was it because I was doing regular things today? The usual "what I do on break" things: Piano lessons, Facebook, Twitter, video games. The list goes on and on. Maybe after opening presents it'll get better? We'll see.

Break is okay so far. I get incredibly bored, which is normal for me. I still have to do this art thing, which I probably might start working on in... I don't know, but soon. ;) I've already finished two video games so far, since break started. The first one is Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. It was a really short game and I still haven't unlocked everything, so I guess it somewhat counts? The second is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It was really, really good. The ending was shocking for me. A lot of things make sense now. It took me like a couple hours to piece up the puzzle though. :] Now, I'm just working on the extra stuff like the challenges and Holo-Missions. I'm listening to "Love Drunk" by Boys Like Girls right now. They sound a lot like All Time Low, which is one of the reasons why I like that song. Another song I like is "Two is Better Than One," their duet with Taylor Swift. I get addicted to a lot of songs easily, if you haven't noticed. :)

Hmm.. what else to talk about? I really don't know. So, I guess this is goodbye for now.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. :)
