So, this blog post is another humanities assignment, and during this assignment, we have to explain what I think the definition of media is. Today we watched a video during class that has the perspective of one person who only sees advertisements everywhere. I have to admit it was pretty cool, but it got me thinking about how much advertisements were out there. So without further adieu.... My definition for media is like anything that is presented to the world that affects people. For me, it's mostly television, pictures, music, advertisements and the internet. When I say "affects people," what I mean is you will do something about it eventually. Just looking/watching/listening to media basically affects you even if you don't know it. Other than that, media can also be art. For example, media can be paintings, sketches, poetry, sculptures, etc. Books, magazines, and newspapers can also count as a type of media. Everything you read affects you. That's what my mom said a couple weeks ago when I was starting this new book. Well, that's pretty much it! ttyl!

Hiii!
When you say that art can be media and media can affects us, in what way does art affect us? Of course there's emotions and thoughts but is there anything else? And what about the internet being media? The internet has media and is media itself. Like books and magazines. What about that?
